State Rep. Chris Perone Endorsed By Connecticut Council Of Police Unions

State Representative Chris Perone (D-Norwalk) announced today that his reelection candidacy has been unanimously endorsed by the Connecticut Council of Police Unions.

"It is our firm belief that Representative Perone's election to office is in the best interest of the residents of Connecticut as well as our four thousand members who serve as police officers in sixty municipalities throughout the state," said James Howell, Executive Director in his announcement.

"I consider it an honor to be endorsed by the brave men and women of the Connecticut Council of Police Unions," Perone said. "And I will continue to promote policies that enable them to do their work safety and effectively. They put their lives on the line everyday for all of us and it's up to us in the legislature to make sure they have the tools and the resources they need."

The Connecticut Council of Police Unions has 4,000 in 60 municipalities across the state and is among the largest in the nation.
