Get Out The Vote with Caravan and Free Ice Cream Party...
October 28, 2008 Norwalk – State Senator Bob Duff announced a town wide caravan through Norwalk this Sunday to generate enthusiasm about the local legislative races and the importance of voting on Tuesday.
“We’ve done this in the past with great success and I urge supporters to join me in a caravan around town followed by a free ice-cream party. This is the final push and a chance to have some fun.”
At the conclusion of the caravan, supporters can join the campaign for a free ice cream party at Dairy King at 169 Main Avenue. Socks the Clown will be a featured guest. Supporters don’t have to be a part of the rally to join the ice cream party.
What: Caravan around Norwalk and a free ice-cream party
When: Sunday, November 2, 2008
Time: Caravan / Car parade: 2:00, Ice-cream party 4:00
Where: Kick off – Rowayton Community Center , 33 Highland Avenue, CT (2:00pm)Finish - Dairy King 169 Main Avenue, Norwalk, CT (4:00pm).
